Family, Friend, or Neighbor Caregivers and Licensed Family Home Child Care Providers (located in Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton, or Sunol) are invited to join Hively staff for a Trauma Informed Care Training and Provider CafÃĐ series.
Training topics include:
âĒ Definitions of trauma: Types of early childhood trauma from conception to age 5 (including being in the foster care system)
âĒ Key trauma statistics and research (focus on children in foster care)
âĒ Introduction to the foster care system
âĒ Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)
âĒ The impact of trauma on the brain and childrenâs behavior
âĒ Neuroplasticity and resiliency
âĒ Key strategies to support children, build their resilience, and minimize the adverse effects of trauma
âĒ Practice applying trauma-informed strategies

Monetary Stipend Available! More Information to Come!
Eligible Participants* will receive a total stipend amount that will be dependent on the number of training hours/cafes you attend.
*Please note: You must be a Family, Friend, or Neighbor Caregiver or Licensed Family Child Care Home Provider that provides care in Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore or Sunol who has not received a stipend previously.
