(Description written by CDSS) Safe Sleep and Emergency/Natural Disaster Preparedness Description:
The core mission of the Community Care Licensing Division, Child Care Licensing Program is to maintain the health and safety of children by ensuring that licensed child care facilities meet established standards. Safe Sleep Awareness started in 2019. Today we have Safe Sleep Regulations in place to ensure the health and safety of infants in care. Child care program staff will share Title 22 Regulations and discuss best practices to remaining in compliance with Title 22 licensing standards specific to these topic. In addition, child care program staff will discuss what do you need to be ready in case of an Emergency/Natural Disaster by providing some resources and things that you should consider when preparing your facility and families involved.
