Using Brain Science and Compassion to Understand and Solve Children’s Behavioral Challenges

July 23 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Historically, educational, and therapeutic models treat asocial behavior as motivated and incentivized. Based on Dr. Mona Delahooke’s work, Beyond Behaviors, this approach is replaced with a neurobiologically informed treatment model to provide parents and caretakers with insightful directives that lead to effective outcomes. Learn about a new paradigm in understanding challenging behaviors with compassionate approaches.

Learning Objectives:

1. Understand the paradigm shift in understanding disruptive behaviors.

2. Create solutions to disruptive behaviors.

3. How to handle children with neurodiversity with care.

4. Learn how to create positive and rich experiences.
