Your donation helps build a training program for non-licensed peer coaches. As more and more families seek assistance for themselves and their children, more mental health specialists are needed. Trained Peer Coaches are designed to work with families for low stakes general counseling and episodic interventions as a no cost means to get families the mental health support they need. In addition, your mental health donation helps us develop highly effective group counseling programs that help a larger number of people while treating a wide range of conditions. One such program is Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). DBT is a modified type of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Its main goals are to teach people how to live in the moment, develop healthy ways to cope with stress, regulate their emotions, and improve their relationships with others.
