What you think about them guides your communication and interactions with them. Typical childhood behaviors\, and routine interactions\, can be seen as challenging when adult temperaments\, biases\, or hot buttons\, flare up. What challenges us can be rooted in our own beliefs and biases.\nJoin Hively staff to review temperament\, hot buttons\, and bias through the lens of child care providers. Participants will be guided to consider what role\, if any\, their own biases\, or preferences\, play in their perception of challenging behavior and interactions. Intro to Interactions for Educators focuses on introducing the key concepts of CLASS\, helping educators see interactions in action\, and providing strategies they can immediately apply. \nAfter you register through Zoom\, you will receive an email prompting you to create an account at teachstone.com. If you already have a teachstone.com account\, you will not need to create another account. You will then need to register through teachstone for this training. \nRegistration will close on August 16\, 2026. The training materials will be mailed out the week of August 17\, 2026.
