SUMMARY:Setting the Stage for Inclusion (Part II of II)
DESCRIPTION:This workshop helps child care providers build the skills and confidence to welcome and include all children in their programs. We will explore what inclusion means\, why it matters\, and the laws that guide it\, such as the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Participants will also learn how inclusion benefits children\, families\, and providers\, and leave with practical strategies to create environments where every child feels a true sense of belonging. \n*This is a two-part training series on October 8th & 9th. When you register it will automatically register you for both sessions. \nLearning Objectives\n1. Explain what inclusion is\, why it is important\, and the legal foundations (such as IDEA) that support it.\n2. Describe the benefits of inclusion for children\, families\, and providers.\n3. Identify simple strategies to support belonging and participation for all children.\n4.
