SUMMARY:Back to School: Integrated Germ Management
DESCRIPTION:Integrated Germ Management meets the annual training requirement for IPM Coordinators\, school staff\, teachers\, and volunteers using pesticides like disinfectants\, sanitizers\, insecticides\, and weed killers. Participants may choose between Integrated Pest Management and Integrated Germ Management. Completing either one successfully meets the annual training requirement.\nParticipants will learn about:\n• How germs cause illness\n• Safe use of sanitizers and disinfectants\n• An integrated approach for management of germs in child care facilities that is healthy for children\, staff\, and the environment \nA certificate will be mailed to each participant successfully completing this training. \nTo successfully complete this training and receive a certificate\, participants MUST:\n• Be signed in at 1:30pm\n• be able to turn on audio and video from the device you are using\n• actively engage in the entire training \nREGISTER HERE \nFamily Home Child Care (FHCC) Providers are welcome to participate. FHCC Providers are exempt from the Healthy Schools Act.\nCCIP ECE Competencies Topic: Health\, Safety\, and Nutrition\nCheck with your PGA to confirm this training counts as Professional Growth Hours.
