SUMMARY:Creating Equitable Learning Environments for YOUNG Children
DESCRIPTION:This training is designed to empower and equip all early childhood educators who are seeking to build foundational knowledge\, application and advocacy for all children especially children of color in their programs. Through personal exploration\, study\, and planning for enriched\, equity-centered early childhood environments\, participants learn basic tools to be more aware and culturally attuned. Participants will learn practical\, equity-aligned practices into their work with children 0-5. This training consists of completing a virtual session that will engage with topics such as: \n-Anti-Bias\, Anti-Racist Practices Introduction\n-Exclusionary Discipline\n-Culturally Responsive Learning Environments\n-Family Engagement\n-Putting it All Together \nParticipants will have opportunities to gain an introductory understanding of:\n1) Understand the concepts of Anti bias\, Anti racism\, Identity\, Culture and Belonging\n2) Comprehend the approaches to create and sustain equitable learning environments \nREGISTER HERE
