Danielle Reed is a pre-licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Cal State East Bay. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Counseling to make a positive impact on people’s lives. Originally from Southern California, Danielle values family and friendships, enjoys binge-watching movies, and loves trying new foods. Her continuous pursuit of education and love for life’s little pleasures reflect her commitment to both personal and professional growth.

Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, Erica Hill, is a graduate from San Francisco State University.  She conducts therapy through a social justice lens, using a combination of therapeutic modalities to assist individuals in their healing. Erica enjoys working with BIPOC children, adolescents, and families. In her spare time, outside of work, she enjoys gardening, reading and spending time near water.

Jillian is a Marriage and Family Therapy Trainee at Hively, and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Couples and Family Therapy at Antioch University. Prior to making the shift to mental health, Jillian spent ten years in the education field, working closely with elementary school children and their families. It was her passion for social emotional well-being in schools and classrooms that inspired her to pursue further education in the mental health field.

Jillian believes that everyone is the expert on their own life, and works collaboratively with her clients to identify goals and a therapeutic approach that is tailored to their specific needs.

In her free time, Jillian enjoys reading mystery novels (as long as they aren’t too scary), being outside in nature, and spending time with her dog.

Kelly Peterson has been a student at the Wright Institute’s Master of Counseling program since the Fall of 2022, and an MFT Trainee since 2023. She is excited to start applying the theoretical knowledge she has gained from the classroom and use it to help support clients.

Kelly has a variety of experience supporting individuals in achieving their specific goals, through both direct and indirect service. She has worked with children and adults, primarily with individuals with developmental disabilities, at non-profits throughout the Bay Area.

When Kelly is not wearing her clinical hat, she enjoys engaging in fiber arts, eating anything salty, and watching reruns of RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Maura Whelehan (she/her/hers) is a counseling trainee at Hively and a Master’s candidate in Counseling (MFT/PCC specialization) at St. Mary’s College of California. With over two decades of experience as a dance teaching artist and educator, she brings creativity, empathy, and a strong commitment to building inclusive communities into her counseling work. Maura has taught in schools and community programs throughout the Bay Area and has engaged in international cultural exchange in Guinea, Kenya, and Peru. She is passionate about supporting individuals and families through a holistic approach integrating mind-body connection, education, and mental health.

Rebecca Silliman (she/her) is a dedicated and compassionate Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) trainee at Hively in San Leandro. She completed coursework for a Master’s degree in counseling psychology at The Wright Institute in Berkeley. Rebecca is dedicated to fostering personal growth, promoting open communication, and facilitating positive change in the lives of her clients. She understands that each individual and family is unique and tailors therapeutic interventions to meet specific needs and goals.

When not in the therapy room, Rebecca enjoys hiking the many Bay Area trails with her wife and two dogs, making art, drinking good wine and watching bad TV.

Shah Sadiq is a Marriage and Family Therapy Trainee. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State University in 2017 and is working towards a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) and licensure as an LMFT, which she will complete in 2024. Before this, Shah obtained an extensive medical background in medicine and health, working as a certified medical assistant in various private practices and hospitals in the Bay Area, San Francisco.

Shah loves to spend time with her family when she is not working. She is an avid home cook and baker, DIY-er, and loves to focus on spirituality and living a full life. She loves a good Raiders win on Sunday and would spend all her time swimming and near the ocean if she could.

Stepahnie has been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 2019. She currently sees clients as well as supervises pre-licensed clinicians. She also completed all her pre-licensure hours with Hively and is committed to community mental health and increasing the accessibility of mental health services. She enjoys connecting with clients and being a supportive witness to their work.

When not working she enjoys reading, photography and spending time with her husband and dog.
