Support Hively with an In Kind Donation

At Hively, in-kind donations go directly to families and child care providers, giving them access to the everyday essentials they need. By meeting these immediate needs, we help relieve stress and create stability so parents and providers can focus on what matters most: building a strong foundation for children to thrive.

We Accept

We gratefully accept new or gently used donations of:

  • Diapers and wipes
  • Children’s books
  • School supplies
  • Hygiene products
  • Children’s clothing
  • Non-perishable food
  • Unopened baby formula

We Cannot Accept

To protect the health and safety of our families, and due to storage limitations, we are unable to accept the following items:

  • Furniture
  • Car seats
  • Breast pumps
  • Mattresses
  • Baby cribs/swings
  • Soiled or broken items with missing pieces
  • Electronics older than 5 years
  • Batteries
  • Car parts
  • Paint
  • Expired food
  • Construction materials

You can drop off your donations during normal business hours.

Please note: In Oakland, we only accept donations during the first week of each month.

Matching Gifts

  • Step 1: Make a donation and be sure to keep your receipt. You'll need to give a copy of this receipt to your employer.
  • Step 2: Contact your Human Resources department to double-check if they operate a gift matching program.
  • Step 3: Follow your employer's procedures for gift matching.

Yes! We’ll send a receipt to the email address you provide when donating. The receipt will include your donation details, such as the date, amount, and any notation you provide.

 Your data is processed in accordance with our privacy policy and also per the privacy policies of our payment systems, Stripe and PayPal.

Yes! Our Hively team is happy to support such donations.

Checks are payable to “Hively” and mailed to: Hively, 7901 Stoneridge Drive, Suite 150, Pleasanton, CA, 94588.  We will be sure to send you an acknowledgment in return for your generosity.
