Accessible Child Care for Your Family

Child Care Center

Licensed child care centers are regulated by Community Care Licensing. In centers, teachers and staff take care of children in classrooms where kids of similar ages learn and play together. License-exempt centers are often located on school or church grounds and also provide care in classrooms for children of similar ages.

Family Home Child Care

Licensed family home child care providers are also regulated by Community Care Licensing. These providers care for children in their own homes, allowing for smaller groups with kids of different ages.

Family, Friend, or Neighbor (FFN)

License-exempt providers take care of kids too, and they can be family members, friends, or neighbors. For example, this could be a grandparent, uncle, aunt, or nanny.

Family Fees

Family Fees are the portion of childcare costs that parents or guardians pay directly to Hively. Fee Structure:

  • Part-Time Fee: Families using less than 130 hours of care per month.
  • Full-Time Fee: Families using 130 hours or more of care per month.

Fees for billed services are due by the 15th of each month. Contact your Family Support Specialist or fss@behively.org if you have any questions.
