Early identification of social-emotional challenges can make all the difference to a young child. With the typical ups and downs of young children’s emotions and behavior, delays or problems can be easily missed.
As more children are increasingly exposed to risk factors such as poverty or toxic stress, the likelihood of depression, anxiety, and antisocial behavior increases. The earlier a behavioral concern is identified, the greater the chance a child has for reaching his or her full potential in life.
ASQ:SE-2 will help you:
-Celebrate children’s emerging social-emotional skills– and uncover potential issues as early as possible
-Clearly identify children who should be monitored and rescreened
-Promote strong social-emotional skills crucial to school readiness
-Increase family engagement with new parent handouts and activities
