This introductory two-hour interactive training is designed to equip community providers and educators with practical tools to foster inclusive, culturally responsive learning environments. This training highlights the importance of understanding and integrating students’ diverse cultural backgrounds into teaching and service provision to create a sense of belonging and support academic and social growth. Through activities, case studies, and actionable strategies, participants will learn how to build trusting relationships with students and families, adapt curricula to be culturally relevant, and address challenges that may arise in diverse settings. The material will be delivered by PowerPoint presentation, short video clips, group discussion, breakout (small group) discussions and participant workbook (handout).
