This workshop will explore the ripple effects of the pandemic on early childhood development as observed as children return to the learning environment. Current evidence and research will be provided on identification of the developmental delays that are present with return to school learning environments as well as classroom and parent partnership strategies to address and minimize the ripple effects.
Learning Objectives:
1)Recognize the effects of the pandemic on developmental milestones for ages 2.5.-6.
2) Identify strategies to support students in skill developmental delays.
3) Learn strategies on how to forge strong parent partnerships while share strategies to share with parents on skill acquisition.
