Resilient Strong! “Building Self-Regulation Part II” (High School)

We will explore with student’s four pathways to regulation: relationships, top of the brain, bottom of the brain and intentional healthy disconnection strategies. All four pathways can provide momentary regulation or release of the chemical oxytocin (feel good chemical that combats and buffers stress chemicals such as cortisone). The strongest method for regulation is a relationship paired with one of the other three pathways.
