The Zones of Self-Awareness Tool for Teens helps students pause and reflect on their unique physical sensations, emotions, thoughts and behavioral clues that determine which zone they are in. Tuning in and understanding what you individually look like in each zone can help you become more aware so that you can be your own FIRST RESPONDER in emotional emergencies. Helping student’s practice building awareness and a “coping skills toolkit” will help them build the skills to manage big emotions.
