Family Resources
The new Tri-Valley Family Resource Center in Pleasanton is now open!
With two locations in Oakland and Tri-Valley, our Hively Family Resource Centers (HFRC) provide a one-stop shop for families to obtain all the basic necessities they need. We offer new and gently-used children’s clothing, shoes, early literacy materials.
ALL of the resources are provided free of charge to families in need.
In addition, the HFRC is a community hub where we host Parent Cafes & support groups and assist families by helping them navigate other available resources in the community.

The HFRC is a hub of activity for parents and children. We offer events and programming throughout the year. Join our email list to receive regular information and updates!
Hively Community Closet
Hively provides new and gently-used children’s clothing, shoes and books
—free of charge—to families in need.
Please contact hello@behively.org to schedule an appointment to drop off your donations.
Hively happily accepts the following new or gently used items:
- New and gently-used clean clothing for children of all ages*
- New and gently-used shoes for children of all ages (free from holes, tears and extreme wear)
- Unopened formula
- Children’s books in good condition
Hively is unable to accept:
- Furniture
- Car seats
- Breast pumps
- Mattresses
- Baby cribs/swings.
- Soiled or broken items with missing pieces including: furniture, toys, home goods.
- Electronics older than 5 years
- Batteries
- Car parts
- Paint
- Expired food
- Construction material
